 Excellent Shredder

The item came quickly and works very well. It is a little loud, but this shredder is far more powerful and safer that the Aptiva Brand that it replaced. Also, very safe. Chrome strip around the input senses touch and stops the shredder if touched, so you (and possibly the kids) will not be hurt. Handy input hole in front for recyclable items that do not need shredding.

Love this shredder!

There’s no flap at the top that you have to open before you can insert a sheet. You just aim and push! The shredder’s reasonably quiet, unlike some I’ve had, and its shape around the bottom takes up less room than other boxy shredders. Another great feature is the opening on the top that allows you to discard something that doesn’t have to go through the shredder, like paper clips, rubber bands, or scraps of paper. A very nice shredder for home use!
